TDF Participates In Momentum 2025 To Enhance Investment In Saudi Arabia's Tourism Sector
The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) is set to play a significant role as a hosting partner at the Development Finance Conference, known as Momentum 2025, in Riyadh. Scheduled from December 9 to 11, this event will take place at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The conference is organised by the National Development Fund (NDF) and will gather development funds, banks, financial leaders, decision-makers, investors, and experts globally.
Momentum 2025 aims to explore the future of development finance and foster partnerships that can propel promising sectors forward. TDF Chief Executive Qusai A. Al-Fakhri highlighted tourism's importance as an economic growth driver. He stated that TDF's mission is to transform tourism potential into viable investments. Al-Fakhri also stressed that TDF's efforts extend beyond financing projects to empowering the private sector and supporting entrepreneurs.

TDF is committed to creating an integrated ecosystem that promotes sustainable tourist destinations with positive social impacts. This approach aims to enhance the quality of tourism experiences across Saudi Arabia. At Momentum 2025, TDF will present its financial solutions and non-financial empowerment initiatives through its TDF Grow center. This center serves as the fund’s non-financial enabling arm.
TDF Grow focuses on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enhancing entrepreneurs' skills. By doing so, it seeks to broaden the investment base within the tourism sector and encourage the development of tourist destinations throughout Saudi Arabia.
Al-Fakhri emphasised that TDF's strategy involves more than just project financing; it includes empowering private enterprises and backing entrepreneurs. The fund aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem that fosters sustainable tourist destinations, which in turn generate positive social impacts while improving tourism quality across the Kingdom.
The conference will also see participation from various development funds and banks under NDF's umbrella. These entities will join forces with global leaders in finance and development institutions to discuss future prospects for development finance.
Momentum 2025 provides a platform for discussing how partnerships can advance promising sectors like tourism. By focusing on these collaborations, TDF hopes to unlock new opportunities for growth within Saudi Arabia's tourism industry.
The event promises insightful discussions on how development finance can be leveraged effectively for sectoral advancement. With its participation in Momentum 2025, TDF aims to showcase its commitment to transforming Saudi Arabia’s tourism landscape through strategic investments and empowerment programs.
