TBHF, Asprey, And Irthi Unveil Precious Heart Jewellery Collection To Support Humanitarian Initiatives

The collaboration between Asprey, The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), and Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council has introduced a unique jewellery collection named Precious Heart. This collection, crafted from rare imperial jadeite, merges Emirati craftsmanship with Asprey's luxury legacy. All proceeds will support TBHF's humanitarian projects globally. The partnership was formalised with a Memorandum of Understanding at Asprey's London store.

Asprey is donating a 1kg piece of imperial jadeite for this collection. It will be transformed into jewellery pieces by Irthi’s design consultants. Scheduled for release in 2025, the collection will feature a beaded jadeite necklace, pendants, and a hinged bangle adorned with diamonds and gold. The estimated value exceeds £4 million, promising significant revenue for humanitarian causes.

Sheikha Jawaher praised Asprey's initiative and their collaboration with Irthi to incorporate Emirati heritage into the collection. She highlighted the importance of partnerships in raising awareness and effecting change for those in need globally. She stressed that challenging global circumstances demand embedding humanitarian work into every endeavour.

Her Highness urged private entities to allocate revenue portions to humanitarian efforts, enhancing their impact potential. "This approach promotes our shared responsibility to support vulnerable individuals," she noted. The collaboration exemplifies a unified commitment to positive global humanitarian efforts, improving lives worldwide.

Reem Bin Karam, Director-General of Irthi, emphasised the partnership's significance: "This partnership is a true testament to the power of art and craftsmanship to drive meaningful and impactful change." She added that Irthi aims to preserve Emirati crafts while empowering artisans through contemporary design narratives.

John Rigas, Asprey Executive Chairman, expressed honour in contributing to this cause alongside TBHF and Irthi. "We are proud to have infused Irthi’s Emirati heritage into this collection," he stated. Mariam Al Hammadi of TBHF highlighted the initiative's profound impact on individuals and communities worldwide.
