Despite the intense heat in Dubai, she secured the inaugural T100 Triathlon World Championship Title. Knibb's triumph marks her fourth consecutive win in the T100 series, with previous victories in San Francisco, Ibiza, and Lake Las Vegas. Her efforts have earned her $310,000 in prize money.

Before the race, Knibb wasn't feeling her best but managed to push through for a win. "I woke up and messaged my coach that I just feel rough, and I’m like, ‘Oh, this is going to be a bad day,’" said Knibb. "So, I was kind of shocked! It only came together in the last 3km when everyone else fell apart, but it was very step-by-step. That was brutal out there, so have fun men!" she added to the male competitors racing tomorrow.

The total prize pool for the T100 Triathlon World Tour amounted to $2 million. Taylor Knibb took home $210,000 for her first-place finish. The breakdown of prize money for other positions includes $140,000 for second place and $90,000 for third place. The amounts decrease incrementally down to $15,000 for those finishing between 17th and 20th places.

Julie Derron joined the T100 Triathlon World Tour in Ibiza and finished second in Dubai. This result secured her third place overall in the series standings with just three race results. Derron earned $90,000 for her achievements. She expressed satisfaction with her performance: "I’m super pleased with my swim today," said Derron. "I had a perfect start getting onto Flora’s feet and I thought, ‘That’s incredible, I just need to stay here!’"

With Taylor Knibb now crowned as the first-ever T100 Triathlon World Champion, she has accumulated a total of $310,000 from both prize winnings and contractual payments throughout the series. Her consistent victories have firmly established her name in triathlon history.
