Tawazun Quality And Conformity Officially Commences Operations To Enhance UAE Defence Standards

Tawazun Council has officially launched Tawazun Quality and Conformity (TQC), a company focused on testing and evaluating military and defence equipment. This initiative is part of the council's efforts to boost the UAE's defence capabilities. TQC, located in Tawazun Industrial Park, Abu Dhabi, aims to ensure products meet global quality and safety standards.

Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of Tawazun Council, stated, "Tawazun Council plays a strategic role in supporting and developing the defence sector by implementing comprehensive plans that foster innovation and empower national companies to enhance their capabilities and global competitiveness."

The establishment of TQC marks a milestone in certifying defence equipment, enhancing local military product quality. Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al Kaabi, CEO of TQC, highlighted their commitment to providing integrated solutions for testing military equipment. The company uses advanced technologies and laboratories to ensure products meet both national and international standards.

Dr. Al Kaabi noted that TQC is preparing for its participation in IDEX 2025. During this event, they plan to sign strategic agreements with partners to foster cooperation and exchange expertise in testing and certification. These collaborations aim to develop innovative solutions and advanced technologies.

Dr. Al Kaabi emphasised the importance of aligning with global technological advancements in testing defence systems. He stated that TQC embodies the national vision of establishing a specialised centre capable of maintaining high standards of quality and safety for defence products.
