Tawazun Council Showcases Strategic Partnerships And Innovations At IDEX & NAVDEX 2025

Tawazun Council will be the Principal Partner at IDEX 2025 and NAVDEX 2025. These events, organised by ADNEC Group with the Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council, will occur from 17th to 21st February at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This participation highlights Tawazun Council's dedication to advancing the UAE's defence industries and enhancing its global standing in advanced sectors.

Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of Tawazun Council, emphasised the importance of IDEX & NAVDEX 2025 as platforms showcasing the UAE's vision for adopting new technology and innovation in defence. He stated, "Tawazun Council is dedicated to driving innovation in the defence sector, in alignment with the UAE’s rapid technological advancements in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Our goal is to shape a future where advanced technology seamlessly integrates with defence operations, strengthening the UAE’s leadership in this field."

The Council aims to expand strategic partnerships and highlight its role alongside the Ministry of Defence. It focuses on optimising defence procurement through innovative systems that ensure sustainability and maximise value. The Council also regulates the defence sector by establishing quality standards and advancing research and development (R&D).

Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chief Corporate Services Officer at Tawazun Council, announced that their chalet at IDEX will span 2,040 square metres. It will feature key initiatives from divisions like TIP, TQC, and Tasneef. "For the first time, the Council will organise 'Tawazun Talks', a specialised discussions featuring leading experts and academics to explore the latest developments in the defence and security industries. Additionally, the chalet will feature innovative students’ projects from Khalifa University, reflecting Tawazun Council’s efforts to support local innovation and foster R&D in the sector," she said.

The event will also include daily press conferences announcing defence deals signed during IDEX on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. This further underscores UAE's commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and promoting knowledge exchange within the defence sector.

Through a clear vision and integrated strategy, Tawazun Council continues developing national capabilities while building a sustainable ecosystem for advanced defence industries. The council fosters innovation by aligning with rapid technological advancements like AI and IoT.
