Over 45,000 Social Security Beneficiaries Receive Tamkeen Support In Early 2024
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development exceeded its target by assisting over 45,000 beneficiaries through the Tamkeen program in the first half of 2024. This surpassed the goal of 41,000 beneficiaries. More than 38,000 individuals found employment, while over 7,000 received support for their economic activities.
Tamkeen offers a variety of services to improve beneficiaries' living conditions and promote financial independence. The program focuses on three main tracks: employment, economic support, and qualification and training. Employment opportunities are provided through partnerships with various sectors via platforms like TAQAT and job fairs across the Kingdom.

By mid-2024, over 10,813 beneficiaries had been trained through 423 courses and workshops at social security offices nationwide. The qualification and training track equips social security beneficiaries with skills to meet labor market demands.
The economic track provides both financial and non-financial support to help beneficiaries with entrepreneurial projects. This includes advice on feasibility studies from specialists and experts. The aim is to assist beneficiaries in becoming productive members of society.
The ministry signed 131 strategic partnerships with training institutes, charitable associations, private sector institutions, and government entities. These collaborations aim to enhance the employability of social security beneficiaries.
Participation in International Conferences
On June 27-28, the ministry participated in the "New Trends in Behavioral Public Policy" conference at the London School of Economics and Political Science. They presented their initiatives focusing on enhancing social welfare systems and boosting employment rates among social security program beneficiaries.
The ministry also contributed to the success of the 1445 AH Hajj season through the Tamkeen Clinics program. This initiative provided comprehensive support to social security beneficiaries and orphans, including social, health, psychological assistance, employment help, qualification programs, and housing aid.
Around 950 pilgrims from among social security beneficiaries and orphans participated in this program during the Hajj season. The goal was to transform these individuals from recipients of assistance into productive members of society.
Tamkeen's efforts reflect a commitment to improving lives by offering job opportunities, entrepreneurial support, and essential training. These initiatives aim to foster self-reliance among social security beneficiaries across Saudi Arabia.
