The Taif Rose Festival, also known as Qitaf 19, commenced yesterday at Al-Rudaf Park, marking a significant event organized by the Taif Rose Cooperative Society in collaboration with Taif Municipality. The festival attracted a vast crowd from its opening hours, eager to partake in the festivities and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere. Highlighting the event, the municipality unveiled a spectacular flower and rose carpet sprawling over 5,206 square meters, intricately designed with 1,026,491 roses and flowers in a myriad of shapes and colors.

This floral masterpiece draws its inspiration from the rich heritage and ancient palaces of Taif Governorate, becoming a focal point for thousands of visitors who gather to capture memories beside this breathtaking display. Beyond the visual feast, the festival offers an array of traditional performances and dances, alongside captivating water and light shows. For those looking to indulge in some shopping, various vending stalls are available, featuring local businesses that specialize in rose-based products. Additionally, a dedicated children's zone ensures entertainment for younger visitors.

Taif Rose Fest: A Cultural Spectacle

In preparation for this grand event, Taif Municipality undertook significant renovations at Al-Rudaf Park to better accommodate the influx of visitors. These enhancements have not only increased the park's capacity but have also introduced new features and amenities to enrich the visitor experience. The festival stands as a testament to the community's efforts to celebrate and promote local culture and heritage through one of its most cherished symbols—the rose.

The Taif Rose Festival continues to be a significant draw for both locals and tourists alike, providing a unique opportunity to explore the cultural richness of Taif Governorate. Through its diverse offerings of entertainment, shopping, and cultural exhibitions, the festival fosters a sense of community and celebration among its attendees.
