Tadweer Group Completes Second Edition Of UAE-Wide Eid Al Etihad Campaign To Promote Sustainability

Tadweer Group has concluded the second edition of its UAE-wide Eid Al Etihad campaign, aimed at promoting sustainability among young people. This initiative coincided with the UAE's 54th National Day, emphasising the significance of waste management across the seven emirates. The campaign engaged over 8,200 students, encouraging them to adopt sustainable practices as future leaders.

From 19th to 28th November, Tadweer Group visited 13 schools throughout the UAE. The organisation inspired students to recycle and rethink waste through interactive games, creative workshops, and collaborative art projects. This year saw an expansion in activities, including new initiatives with a school of Determination.

Tadweer Group Wraps Up Eid Al Etihad Campaign

During the campaign, over 90 activities were conducted within more than 170 hours. These activities involved over 190 team members working on-ground to ensure successful execution. The aim was to instil a mindset of environmental responsibility among students through engaging and educational experiences.

The Executive Director of Communications and Awareness at Tadweer Group, Abdulwahed Juma Farish, stated, "Our founding father always prioritised caring for our environment. As we celebrate 54 years of our nation’s history, we embody these values in our efforts to promote the value of waste with our children. As the future leaders of our country, they will be tasked with being responsible for our planet, and teaching their descendants the importance of the Four Rs. Tadweer Group is proud to play its part in shifting behavioural change to achieve this – and it all starts with our students and in their education."

Tadweer Group's awareness team actively engages with communities throughout the year. They participate in festivals, workshops, and educational institutions like schools and universities. These efforts aim to spread sustainability messages widely among the public.

The campaign's success highlights Tadweer Group's commitment to fostering environmental consciousness among youth. By involving students in hands-on activities and discussions about sustainability, they hope to cultivate a generation that values environmental stewardship.
