2025 SWAAC ELSO ECMO Conference Successfully Concludes In Abu Dhabi With Global Participation
The 2025 SWAAC ELSO ECMO Conference concluded successfully in Abu Dhabi, marking its 11th annual gathering. The event attracted over 1,100 delegates and more than 70 distinguished speakers from around the world. Participants engaged in discussions on the latest advancements in ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) therapy during the three-day conference.
This year's conference, held in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, delved into the complexities of ECMO therapy. It covered its use in critical care settings, new approaches, emerging technologies, and how ECMO care integrates into multi-disciplinary healthcare teams. The event was supported by the Department of Health.
