Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 Official Logo Reflects Emirati Heritage And Values
The Supreme Organising Committee for the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, led by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has introduced its official event logo. This design embodies Emirati heritage and draws from the UAE's rich natural landscape, including deserts, mountains, and coastal waters. It symbolises the nation's identity and values of tolerance and inclusion while promoting unity and community cohesion.
Sheikh Theyab highlighted that hosting such a global event reflects the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He views healthy lifestyles and longevity as vital for everyone, regardless of age or background. The games underscore the UAE's commitment to developing its sports sector, serving as a dynamic platform for international engagement.

The UAE is set to welcome participants worldwide to the Open Masters Games, promising an unforgettable celebration of movement that mirrors its values of tolerance, harmony, peace, and openness to all cultures. The country's strategic location in the region, modern infrastructure, and advanced sports facilities make it an ideal setting for international events.

The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will be held from 6th to 15th February 2026 across various locations in the UAE. It is expected to attract over 25,000 participants competing in 33 different sports. These include four traditional Emirati disciplines honouring cultural heritage and 18 sports open to People of Determination.
A wide range of sports will be available for all ages and abilities. Precision events like archery and shooting are included alongside team competitions such as football, basketball, volleyball, netball, and rugby. Individual disciplines like athletics, swimming, cycling, golf, tennis, table tennis, badminton, squash, and weightlifting will also feature prominently.
Traditional Sports Highlighted
Combat sports such as judo, karate, jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai will be part of the event. Water activities like sailing, kayaking and canoeing are also included along with camel racing. Additional activities encompass bowling, cricket orienteering padel traditional falconry horse racing triathlon duathlon wrestling equestrian events obstacle course racing.
The logo integrates iconic UAE landmarks like Zayed National Museum Zayed Sports City Museum Future through flowing forms resembling sea waves sand dunes reflecting resilience ambition shared purpose national progress.
The event promises to be a significant milestone in Middle Eastern sporting history as it becomes the largest multi-sport gathering ever hosted in this region.
