Supreme Organising Committee Reviews Final Preparations For IDEX And NAVDEX 2025 Global Defence Event
The Supreme Organising Committee for IDEX and NAVDEX 2025, along with the International Defence Conference, recently held a coordination meeting. They discussed final preparations for this significant global event. Scheduled from 17th to 21st February 2025 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, this edition promises to be the largest ever. It is organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council.
Staff Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei chaired the meeting. Participants included Staff Major General Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, and Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group. Heads of subcommittees and representatives from key national institutions in both public and private sectors were also present.

Al Mazrouei expressed confidence that this edition will significantly enhance international cooperation and open new avenues for strategic partnerships. He praised ADNEC Group's role and national entities in both government and private sectors for ensuring the success of this prestigious event, reflecting the UAE’s global standing.
The subcommittees are working closely under the Supreme Organising Committee to support international exhibitors fully. This includes providing technical and advisory assistance, facilitating operational needs, and allocating platforms for showcasing advanced innovations. Enhancing visitor experience through parallel events is also a priority.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri confirmed that all technical and logistical preparations are complete to welcome international exhibitors and delegations. He emphasised ADNEC Group’s commitment to delivering a high-calibre experience that cements the UAE’s position as a leading global hub for defence and advanced technologies.
Al Dhaheri highlighted that ADNEC Group’s teams are working tirelessly to meet all necessary requirements. This includes allocating interactive exhibition spaces, implementing advanced technologies, ensuring world-class infrastructure, and providing high-quality logistical services for seamless execution.
CBRNE Hub Launch
The meeting also reviewed preparations for launching the CBRNE Hub this year. This specialised platform will focus on solutions and technologies for countering chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threats. It is a key addition to IDEX and NAVDEX 2025.
IDEX, NAVDEX, and the International Defence Conference serve as global platforms attracting thousands of specialised companies along with defence and security experts. The event highlights technological transformations impacting future global security and stability.
