Supreme Council For Motherhood And Childhood Delegation Engages At Expo 2025 Osaka To Promote Cultural Awareness

The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, along with members of the Emirati Children’s Parliament, recently visited Expo 2025 Osaka. This visit was part of an official trip to Japan, following the guidance of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. The aim was to promote cultural understanding, exchange knowledge, and explore sustainable development and innovation.

During their visit, the delegation explored the UAE Pavilion. They received insights into the country's achievements in various sectors. Additionally, they toured the Japan Pavilion and the Women’s Pavilion, which continues the legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai's Women’s Pavilion, a first in World Expos history dedicated to women.

UAE Delegation Visits Expo 2025 Osaka

Abdullah Badr Al Ali led the delegation. He was joined by Saeed Ahmed Al Rumaithi from the UAE Youth Council for Agriculture and UNICEF Youth Advocate at COP28. Maryam bint Hassan Al Ghafri, Chair of the Environmental and Sustainability Committee, and Emirati inventor Ali Al Loughani also participated as members of the Emirati Children’s Parliament.

Al Ali expressed that this visit reflects the UAE leadership's vision and H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's efforts to enhance global cooperation. He praised the participation of Emirati Children’s Parliament members, noting it demonstrates the UAE's belief in children's roles in shaping both present and future.

The involvement of young parliament members allowed them to engage with different cultures and gain valuable experiences. Al Ali highlighted that their participation broadens their intellectual horizons. He emphasized that this initiative showcases the UAE leadership's commitment to empowering youth as vital contributors to national progress and international competitiveness.

The Emirati Children’s Parliament's presence at such a significant event underscores their role as key partners in building a sustainable future. Their involvement is a testament to how youth are supported by UAE leadership in fostering innovation and sustainability on a global scale.
