Experience The Cultural Essence Of Makkah With Summer Of Hira Events
The Hira Cultural District has commenced its "Summer of Hira" activities, which will continue until Saturday, August 8th. This event aims to engage both residents and visitors of the Makkah Region with a variety of activities.
Visitors can enjoy camel and horse rides, painting workshops, calligraphy sessions, and displays by productive families. Additionally, there are 360-degree corners, ice cream and juice services, and a kids’ zone. The district also features events with pets and birds, along with a photo contest.

The Revelation Exhibition offers an immersive cultural experience. It includes life-sized models of the Cave of Hira and a large screen narrating the story of the revelation to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Visitors can also ascend to the Cave of Hira via a paved path, reflecting the message conveyed by Angel Gabriel to the Prophet (PBUH).
Located next to Jabal Al-Nour, one of Makkah’s most famous landmarks, the district is open daily to visitors from around the world. This showcases Saudi Arabia's efforts in developing historical sites and enriching the religious and cultural experiences of its guests.
The district spans approximately 67,000 square meters and accommodates tourists from various nationalities and social segments. It consistently works to enhance the quality of life for both visitors and residents, aiming to be a landmark of leisure and comfort.
