Sultan Bin Ahmed Reviews Key Projects During Visit To Sharjah Petroleum Department
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Petroleum Department, has confirmed that all projects under the department are progressing as planned. These initiatives align with the directives from the Energy Council's recent meeting, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The focus is on advancing the petroleum sector in Sharjah to support economic growth. The aim is to provide sustainable and clean energy, aligning with Sharjah's strategy to enhance development sectors while preserving the environment. This was highlighted during H.H. Sheikh Sultan’s visit to the Sharjah Petroleum Department on Wednesday.

During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Sultan was welcomed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of the Petroleum Department, along with other officials including Hatem Al Mosa and Khamis Abdullah Al Mazrouei. Discussions centred around ongoing technical and specialised projects within various sectors of the petroleum industry.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan emphasised the importance of Emiratisation within the department. He encouraged enhancing national workforce participation and fostering coordination between the department and other institutions. This collaboration is crucial for energy's pivotal role in achieving development plans.
The meeting also covered efforts in specialised technical fields, human resources, administrative operations, and future strategies to improve administrative functions. These efforts aim to meet departmental goals across various projects effectively.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan congratulated Khamis Al Mazrouei on his new role within the department's team. He expressed his best wishes for success to him and all employees in contributing positively to performance enhancement and development.
The visit underscored a commitment to integrating efforts across sectors to ensure progress in Sharjah's petroleum industry aligns with broader economic objectives.
