Sultan Bin Ahmed Celebrates Winners Of Sharjah Award For Educational Excellence At Ceremony
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, recently celebrated the winners of the 30th edition of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence (SAEE). The ceremony took place at University City Hall and was organised by the Sharjah Private Education Authority. This year, 51 winners were chosen from a pool of 1,460 participants from across the UAE.
A video presentation titled "Tapestry of Excellence" was showcased during the event. It highlighted the award's journey over three decades, illustrating its achievements and statistics. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed also introduced the "Pillar of Excellence," a symbol recognising outstanding educational accomplishments.
The SAEE aims to foster excellence, creativity, and innovation in education. It encourages both individuals and institutions to strive for high standards in all learning aspects. Dr Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi for his support in promoting educational excellence and investing in human resources.
In the Outstanding Individuals category, Chitra Raghafan secured first place as an Educational Leader. Saria Abdulrahman topped the Outstanding Teacher category, with Sherin Yahya Ramadan and Mohammed Ahmed Al Bustawi taking second and third places respectively.
Yasser Mohammed Laila emerged as the winner in the Outstanding Support Functions category. Sandeyah Mohammed Al Ziyoudi was recognised in the Outstanding Parent category. In the Outstanding Student category for grades 3 to 12, notable winners included Ayush Krishnanifas, Hamad Saif Al Aryani, Sarah Javed Khan, and Shamsa Ali Al Naqbi. Mayed Aref Al Zaabi won in the Special Needs category.
Al Nuhayneyah School received recognition as an Outstanding School, while Suhailah Nursery was awarded for being an Outstanding Nursery. These awards highlight institutions that have achieved high standards in education.
The Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence continues to inspire educational achievements across various categories. By recognising diverse contributions within education, it motivates participants to pursue excellence and innovation in their respective fields.
