Sultan Bin Ahmed Recognises Winners Of The 10th Sharjah International Cycling Tour

The Sharjah International Cycling Tour's 10th edition concluded with a ceremony in the Aljada area of Sharjah. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, honoured the winners. Josh Kenneth from the Chinese Li Niang Star team secured first place, while Josh Burnett from the Spanish Burgos team came second. Tarameh Ren from the Japanese Keen team finished third.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan also recognised teams and individual cyclists for their exceptional performances. The Italian Solition Tech team was named the best team overall. At the jersey level, Josh Kenneth won the yellow jersey for best time, sponsored by Sharjah Police General Command. Dusan Rajovic claimed the green jersey for speed points average, sponsored by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.

Rashid Al Balushi from the UAE national team earned the red jersey for hill climb average, sponsored by Sharjah Municipality. Mary Foot Duarte from the Emirates Professional Team received the white jersey in the youth category for cyclists under 23 years, sponsored by Sharjah Sports Channel. Abdullah Jassim Al Ali from the Emirates Team was awarded the UAE flag jersey for best stage completion time.

During the event, attendees watched a video highlighting key moments of this year's tour. H.H. Sheikh Sultan visited an event corner featuring activities for fans and followers of cycling. He praised organisers for their dedication to making this global event successful and congratulated them on their achievements.

The Deputy Ruler expressed appreciation for the intense competition among cyclists throughout all stages of the tour. He acknowledged their efforts in maintaining high standards during this prestigious event. The video presentation showcased memorable events that marked this year's edition as a significant milestone in international cycling.
