Sultan Bin Ahmed Approves Establishment Of Two New Courts Of Appeal In Sharjah
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, led a meeting at Bait Elowal in the Heart of Sharjah. He praised the Judicial Council members for their dedication to justice and law. Their efforts ensure a fair judicial environment that protects rights and supports social stability.
The Council approved establishing two Courts of Appeal in Kalba and Al Dhaid. These courts will handle appeals under the Judicial Authority Law, which allows court establishment across Sharjah's cities. This move aims to improve access to justice and provide comprehensive legal services throughout the emirate.
The new Courts of Appeal in Kalba and Al Dhaid will strengthen the judicial system by reducing central court workloads. They will speed up case processing times and make adjudication faster. Residents in these cities will have easier access to judicial services, ensuring fair justice and improving satisfaction across Sharjah.
The Council also approved a new corporate identity for the Judicial Council, Department of Justice, and Public Prosecution. Inspired by Islamic design, this identity symbolises an integrated legal framework reflecting authenticity and integrity. It features symbols and colours representing stability and impartiality.
A cohesive logo differentiates each entity while maintaining a unified framework. Modern fonts ensure clarity in correspondence, publications, and signage. This approach reinforces corporate identity, reflecting values of justice and efficiency.
The Council approved launching social media accounts for the Judicial Council, Department of Justice, and Public Prosecution. This initiative strengthens their digital presence within a professional framework. It aligns with digital advancements, providing public access to reliable judicial information.
Digital Transformation Initiatives
The Council discussed plans for monitoring media performance on social platforms to enhance communication transparency. These efforts aim to improve digital content quality, unify media discourse across entities, and promote the new visual identity reflecting Sharjah's values.
An electronic platform named "Sharjah Judiciary" was launched by the Council. It consolidates services from the Judicial Council, Department of Justice, and Public Prosecution into one website and mobile app. This platform offers users quick access to judicial services supporting Sharjah's digital transformation in justice.
The platform provides a unified interface for tracking transactions, submitting applications, and accessing smart services securely. This initiative enhances government service quality by integrating judicial entities, boosting customer satisfaction, and advancing Sharjah's vision of an innovative judicial system using technology.
