Sultan Bin Ahmed Chairs Sharjah Judicial Council Meeting To Enhance Judicial Efficiency

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, led a meeting at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. He welcomed members and commended their efforts to enhance the judicial system. The meeting focused on initiatives to improve services and streamline customer experiences.

The Council reviewed several agenda items aimed at enhancing the judicial system's efficiency. These efforts are part of creating a supportive environment for the judiciary's work and strengthening the legal framework in Sharjah. A presentation highlighted key achievements from July to September.

The Council approved the start of the judicial year as per Law No. (7) of 2025, which regulates Sharjah's judicial authority. This law sets the judicial year from 1st October to June of the following year. Several decisions were endorsed to advance the judicial system and improve operational efficiency across various sectors.

The meeting was attended by prominent officials such as Judge Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Judicial Department; Dr. Mansour bin Nassar, Chairman of the Sharjah Government Legal Department; Judge Ahmed Abdullah Al Mulla, Chairman of the Court of Cassation; Counselor Anwar Amin Al Harmoudi, Attorney General and Head of Public Prosecution Authority; Judge Dr. Salama Rashid Salem Tamim Al Ketbi, Chairman of Judicial Inspection Department; Judge Abdulrahman Sultan bin Taliah, Chairman of Courts of Appeal; Judge Dr. Omar Obaid Al Ghoul, Chairman of Courts of First Instance; and Sheikh Faisal bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Mualla, Secretary-General of Judicial Council.

The Council's dedication to improving judicial services is evident through its continuous efforts to refine processes and enhance operational capabilities within Sharjah's legal framework.
