Dr. Sultan Al Jaber Takes Helm As Chairman Of Presight Board, Bolstering AI Leadership

Presight, a prominent big data analytics company in the region, has announced the election of Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Dr. Al Jaber, who is also the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, is known for his leadership and business acumen.

Dr. Al Jaber has been instrumental in promoting advanced technologies to support the UAE’s strategic national agenda. The Presight Board also elected Mansoor Al Mansoori as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee. Other board members include Suhail Bin Tarraf, Kiril Evtimov, Abdulla Rashed Alrashdi, Hamda Almheiri, and Thomas Pramotedham.

Mansoor Al Mansoori commented on the election, stating that Dr. Al Jaber’s appointment significantly strengthens Presight’s board. He highlighted that each board member brings unique experiences, positioning Presight for accelerated growth both locally and globally. As AI continues to impact various sectors, Presight aims to lead in responsible AI adoption.

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, expressed his privilege in welcoming Dr. Al Jaber to the Board. He also thanked Mansoor Al Mansoori for his guidance and support during Presight’s IPO and subsequent growth. Pramotedham believes that having Dr. Al Jaber as Chairman and Mansoor Al Mansoori as Vice-Chairman will drive further success for Presight.

In May 2024, Presight shareholders approved the acquisition of 51 percent of AIQ, with ADNOC retaining a 49 percent shareholding. As part of this transaction, ADNOC assumed a 4 percent shareholding in Presight. The three entities are focused on accelerating the development of advanced AI solutions for the energy sector.
