Sudair Industrial City Signs Six Deals Worth Over SAR 1.034 Billion To Boost Local Industry
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef, who chairs MODON’s board, visited Sudair Industrial and Business City to oversee six new industrial, investment and logistics agreements worth over SAR1.034 billion. The projects cover 671,000 square meters and support sustainable industrial growth, stronger local content and the National Industrial Strategy objectives.
The package of Sudair Industrial and Business City agreements includes contracts in pharmaceuticals, metals, specialised equipment, training and logistics services. They aim to localise key manufacturing activities, support downstream sectors, and build supply chain resilience. The agreements also focus on developing national skills and improving services provided to investors within the city.

Within the pharmaceutical field, MODON signed a contract with STADA Saudi Arabia Ltd, which will invest SAR366 million on a 23,000 square metre plot. The project will manufacture human-use medicines locally, reinforcing the Kingdom’s pharmaceutical security. Safety Science Medical Company agreed a SAR40 million project on 8,400 square meters to localise additional pharmaceutical production lines.
Industrial activity will expand through MODON’s contract with Jindal Saw and Buhur Altavision, valued at more than SAR562 million. The project spans 540,000 square meters and will localise pipe manufacturing, supporting downstream industries and national supply chain readiness. Mubadara Engineering Company will invest SAR50 million on over 100,000 square meters to produce vessels for liquefied and compressed gases.

Human capital and logistics form another pillar of the Sudair Industrial and Business City agreements. MODON and Al-Majmaah Chamber of Commerce will invest SAR15.9 million in a modern training centre to prepare specialised national industrial competencies. A Memorandum of Understanding with AGEX Company will deliver shared logistics transportation services, improving service quality and strengthening the overall industrial ecosystem in Sudair.
