Nine categories focus on institutional performance, such as "Best Integrated Communication System" and "Best Innovation in Government Communication." Other awards include "Best Crisis Communication Strategy" and "Best Communication Practice in Supporting Social Responsibility." These categories aim to recognise efforts that enhance social responsibility through effective communication.

The SCGA also honours campaigns promoting cultural identity with awards like the "Best Campaigns Promoting Cultural Identity and the Arabic Language." This category celebrates initiatives that highlight Arabic as a crucial part of national identity and cultural heritage.

Individual Achievements Highlighted

Four individual awards are offered, including "Best Youth Initiative in Government Communication" and "Best Official Spokesperson." The award for "Best Changemakers in Digital Content" acknowledges creators of positive social media content under and over 18 years old. These awards aim to inspire individuals contributing positively to digital platforms.

A category dedicated to research is included: "Best Research in Communication Sciences." This award acknowledges research advancing government communication practices with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and quality of life. It aims to encourage academic contributions that enhance practical communication strategies.

Three jury awards are presented: one for "Outstanding Communication for a Higher Quality of Life," recognising exceptional initiatives from Sharjah-based participants in the Government Communication Talks platform. The other two are "Best Individual Positive Social Impact" and "Best Communication for Community Empowerment." These awards honour impactful contributions within the community.

The SCGA continues to adapt by introducing new categories that reflect changing global trends. By recognising diverse achievements across sectors, it fosters innovation and excellence in government communication practices worldwide.
