Orphan Associations In Saudi Arabia Receive Support As Benaa Launches Aytamna Platform
Eastern Region Governor Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz sponsored a ceremony at the principality diwan that highlighted work to support orphans across Saudi Arabia. The event focused on the seventh edition of a national initiative for orphan associations, centred on capacity-building and sharing expertise, and drew 110 participants from 48 orphan care associations representing different regions of the Kingdom.
Benaa Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Eng. Khalid Al-Zamil stated that the continuation of this initiative reflected the Saudi leadership’s care for the non-profit sector and its institutions. Al-Zamil explained that this attention aimed to empower organisations, improve their tools, and develop more sustainable operational models that increase effectiveness and raise the overall social impact of services provided to beneficiaries.

Al-Zamil pointed out that the seventh edition helped direct the future course of orphan associations through artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The initiative also worked as a national platform for strengthening institutional performance in the non-profit sector, by supporting professional knowledge exchange, improving working practices, and raising operational efficiency, so that services for orphans kept pace with fast changes in this important field.
During the ceremony, Prince Saud sponsored the signing of five cooperation agreements between the Charity Society for Orphan Care in Eastern Region (Benaa) and several entities. These agreements aimed to support programmes and projects for orphans. Prince Saud also inaugurated the "Aytamna" partnerships platform, which was launched as part of broader efforts to organise cooperation and attract additional support for orphan care initiatives around the Kingdom.
Al-Zamil added that the Aytamna partnerships platform was a national initiative created to manage, regulate, and expand partnerships serving orphans and orphan associations in all Saudi regions. The platform was expected to help coordinate support, align efforts between partners, and improve access to resources, which would enhance the quality and continuity of services offered to orphan beneficiaries over the long term.
