Strategic Partnerships Announced To Enhance Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 Experience
The Supreme Organising Committee for the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 has formalised several strategic partnerships with prominent UAE and international organisations. These agreements aim to enhance lifelong sports participation, community wellbeing, and promote longevity. The partnerships were signed by Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, with Mohamed Al Junaibi, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, present.
The agreements involve key organisations such as AD Ports Group, PureHealth, LuLu Group International, Miral, Mubadala Investment Company, Etihad Rail, and Choueiri Group. These entities share a commitment to promoting Abu Dhabi as a leader in inclusive sporting initiatives and advancing the UAE's status as a global hub for health and active living.

Senior representatives from each partner organisation attended the signing ceremony. Notable attendees included Sultan Al Ghaithi from AD Ports Group, Shaista Asif of PureHealth, Ashraf Ali M.A. from LuLu Group International, Taghrid Al Saeed of Miral, Homaid Al Shimmari from Mubadala Investment Company, Shadi Malak of Etihad Rail, and Pierre Choueiri from Choueiri Group.
Aref Hamad Al Awani expressed that the success of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 relies on collaboration. He stated that these agreements reinforce partners' trust in the UAE's vision and capabilities. "Together," he said, "we aim to advance the Games as a bridge between nations and communities where sport serves as a language of connection and mutual respect."
The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 is scheduled from 6th to 15th February 2026. It will be the largest international multi-sport event ever hosted in the Middle East. Over 25,000 athletes worldwide are expected to participate in more than 30 sports events. These include heritage disciplines that showcase the UAE’s rich cultural identity.
This collaboration is anticipated to elevate the event's global impact significantly. It aims to contribute to a broader movement towards healthier and more inclusive societies. The partnerships highlight Abu Dhabi’s leadership role in fostering inclusive sporting initiatives.
