SRTI Park And Samsung Explore Future Trends In AI And Smart Technology
The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) recently collaborated with Samsung Gulf Electronics to spotlight emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation, digitisation, security, among other critical subjects. This partnership culminated in the "Samsung Lab Experience" workshop, which drew a varied crowd from numerous sectors, including the academic world, all eager to delve into AI and its practical benefits in daily life.
Over the course of two days, specialists from Samsung engaged with a wide array of participants, including government entities, corporations, SMEs, academic institutions, and students. The discussions spanned several themes such as AI, innovation, digitisation, security, customer experience, educational technology, and the Samsung SmartThings platform.

Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, expressed pride in the park's role as a magnet for innovators keen on leveraging advanced technologies to devise solutions. He highlighted Sharjah's burgeoning status as a nucleus for future technologies. "The UAE is advancing towards smart living where machines, devices, and people are interconnected," Al Mahmoudi stated. He further emphasized SRTI Park's commitment to fostering an innovative ecosystem that benefits educational bodies, research institutions, and the local economy.
Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of the Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, lauded Sharjah's dedication to fostering innovation. "Our two-day workshop showcased the powerful synergy between public and private sectors," Abu Shamat remarked. He acknowledged the critical role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in driving technological advancements and economic growth. Abu Shamat also extended gratitude towards SRTIP for their hospitality and for facilitating a successful workshop.
