Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge Announces Official Race Route For February 2025 Event
The cycling community is eagerly preparing for the 15th Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge. This event, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, will feature a 92 KM main race on Sunday, 25th February 2025, at Expo City Dubai. The challenge serves as a qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Lorne, Australia, from 16th to 19th October.
Dubai's involvement as a qualifying venue highlights its status as a top cycling destination. It connects athletes from the GCC and beyond to this prestigious global stage. The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge offers competitive amateur cyclists a chance to qualify for the world championships held on the iconic Great Ocean Road.

The route of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is designed to be accessible for both local residents and international participants. With its shorter distance, flatter terrain, and cooler climate, it provides an ideal setting for those aiming to achieve their World Championship goals while enjoying a world-class holiday experience.
Cyclists will navigate through bustling city areas on traffic-free streets, experiencing unique urban and desert landscapes. The race starts and ends at Expo City Dubai, passing landmarks like Global Village, Jumeirah Lake Towers, and Jumeirah Golf Estates. This offers riders a rare opportunity to explore these iconic sites while competing.
In addition to the race itself, participants can enjoy Dubai's vibrant tourism scene. The city offers endless opportunities for relaxation and exploration, turning the challenge into an unforgettable getaway for cyclists and their families.
