SPEA Enhances Literacy With Participation In Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival
The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has officially joined the 15th edition of the "Sharjah Children's Reading Festival," a significant event organized by the Sharjah Book Authority at Expo Centre Sharjah. This collaboration, which kicks off today and runs until 12th May, is underpinned by the festival's inspiring theme, "Be the hero of your story." This theme reflects SPEA's commitment to instilling a love for reading among children, a cornerstone of its educational mission.
Ali Al Hosani, the Director of SPEA, has voiced the authority's unwavering commitment to promoting literature and culture among the youth. The festival is set to feature a diverse array of activities and workshops specifically designed for students from Sharjah's private schools. These initiatives are aimed at unlocking the creative and literary potential within students across various age groups.

Al Hosani also emphasized the importance of synergy between educational and cultural entities in achieving common goals. He pointed out that SPEA harbors an ambitious vision to not only empower students but also to instill in them a habit of reading and a culture of continuous learning.
The theme for this year's festival is particularly aimed at encouraging children to delve into their imaginative realms through reading and writing. This aligns perfectly with SPEA's objective of nurturing a knowledge-driven society that rests on robust educational and cultural pillars.
By fostering an enriching and stimulating learning atmosphere, SPEA aims to motivate children to embark on journeys of discovery, innovation, and contribution towards realizing Sharjah's aspiration for a dynamic and informed community.
