SPARK Showcases Future-Focused Innovation Ecosystem At GITEX Global 2025 In Dubai
Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) is presenting its latest innovations in healthcare, AI, sustainability, smart mobility, and advanced manufacturing at GITEX Global 2025. This event is being held from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. SPARK's participation highlights its role in fostering knowledge transfer and innovation through collaboration among academia, industry, and startups.
SPARK's pavilion at GITEX includes companies from its innovation ecosystem. Notable participants are MaxByte, offering industrial transformation and AI solutions; Tahseel Technology, which focuses on digital financial services; and re.life, a Sharjah-based startup that operates a dual-platform system for trading recyclable materials like paper, plastic, glass, metals, and e-waste.

In line with the UAE’s national strategy for gender balance, SPARK has introduced a 50 percent discount on registration fees for women-owned or women-led tech companies until 29th November. This initiative aims to encourage female entrepreneurs to join the innovation ecosystem by providing access to incubation, licensing, and mentorship opportunities.
Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SPARK, stated that their involvement in GITEX demonstrates their commitment to advancing research in AI and emerging technologies. "SPARK continues to attract global technology firms and investors seeking an environment that supports innovation and sustainable growth," he said. This effort strengthens Sharjah’s position as a regional hub for technology and knowledge.
SPARK is also promoting its flagship series Sharjah Next on 29th–30th October. This event will focus on healthcare innovation by bringing together global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to form partnerships and exchange ideas on technology-driven health solutions.
The showcase aligns with GITEX’s theme of "Enter the Next Digital Universe," reflecting SPARK’s vision to lead regional technological transformation. By participating in such events, SPARK underscores its growing influence as a key driver of future-ready solutions.
The initiatives at SPARK aim to create an environment conducive to innovation while supporting sustainable growth. By engaging with global technology firms and investors, SPARK enhances Sharjah's reputation as a centre for technological advancement.
