SPARK Enhances Global Innovation in Sharjah

The Park's new brand identity reflects its growing international recognition through events like IASP Shanghai, Women in Tech, and GITEX. These platforms showcased Sharjah’s leadership in sustainability, AI, and advanced manufacturing. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SPARK, reviewed the Park’s recent progress and outlined future projects shaping innovation in the Emirate.

Al Mahmoudi noted that SPARK's growth focuses on performance, sustainability, and digital transformation. "The Park’s new phase of growth centres on performance, sustainability, and digital transformation. From advanced prototyping at SoiLab to new innovation platforms like Base39, SPARK is building a globally competitive environment where research and enterprise thrive side by side," he explained.

The Seal the Deal initiative was highlighted as a key programme uniting universities, startups, and industry partners to turn research into market-ready ventures. This model strengthens Sharjah’s startup ecosystem. Additionally, strategic collaborations with entities like the Ministry of Economy aim to align national innovation policies and accelerate R&D impact.

SPARK also announced the upcoming launch of Base39 on November 27, 2025. This creative hub will foster collaboration in design, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. Meanwhile, SoiLab is evolving into a full-scale prototyping hub to help innovators bring ideas to marketable products.

Healthcare Innovation Focus

The successful launch of "Sharjah Next: Healthcare" was another highlight. This flagship event focused on advancing medical innovation by bringing together global experts to explore breakthroughs in genomics, AI diagnostics, and clinical research. It reinforced Sharjah’s position as a leader in healthcare innovation.

SPARK's integrated approach connects academia with government and industry to drive Sharjah’s innovation vision. By creating a dynamic ecosystem that turns ideas into impact, SPARK reinforces Sharjah’s role as a catalyst for global innovation and sustainable development.
