Saudi Press Agency Joins Forces With Global Media To Broadcast Hajj

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) is expanding its coverage of the religious, cultural, and social aspects of Hajj. This effort aims to broadcast the event globally through international media partnerships. Since February, SPA has collaborated with major international and Islamic news agencies to develop a joint media plan focusing on news exchange and media expertise.

SPA's strategy includes joint media production to maximise the impact and ensure the global dissemination of the Hajj message. Through these partnerships, SPA highlights the facilities provided by the Kingdom to serve pilgrims. It distributes various media materials and presents human stories via its official website, digital platforms, and international media partners in multiple languages.

SPA Expands Hajj Media Coverage

SPA is committed to providing comprehensive coverage of Hajj rituals in a professional manner that reflects the significance of Hajj to Muslims worldwide. The agency documents the entire journey of pilgrims, ensuring that every aspect is covered. Last year, SPA launched international media partnerships with four Islamic agencies during the Hajj season.

This initiative led to the publication of nearly 4,000 news items in over 15 languages. To further expand Hajj coverage globally and enhance its impact and sustainability, SPA has targeted 10 major news agencies with significant media leverage this year.
