Smart Energy Solution Providers Focus On Expanding Operations In Middle East Solar Market
The Middle East has become a vital market for the solar energy industry, offering significant opportunities for global companies aiming to expand. During the World Future Energy Summit, part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, firms specialising in solar solutions presented innovations like drones, robotic cleaners, and sun-tracking technologies. They highlighted the summit's role as a gateway to the region's thriving solar sector.
Suzhi Xiao, Chief Technology Officer at Skysys Intelligent Technology, mentioned their debut at the summit to display drone-based solutions. These drones utilise AI to analyse solar panels and wind turbines, providing precise performance data. "The summit provides us with a foothold in a region witnessing rapid adoption of renewable energy, especially solar," she added. This event offers them a chance to showcase their products globally and expand their regional presence.

Kai Zhao from Langfang Sol-Bright New Energy Technology stressed the summit's importance for promoting automated solar panel cleaning solutions. Sol Bright, based in Beijing with an office in Dubai, supplies automated cleaning systems for large-scale desert solar projects. Zhao pointed out that robotic systems offer sustainable cleaning without water, making them ideal for arid conditions.
Chen Xiakun of Solar-Lit shared that their company holds a 46% market share in robotic cleaning systems across the Middle East and North Africa. He emphasised the region's significance for their global operations and noted how the summit aids their expansion efforts into new markets. "Solar-Lit robotic cleaning systems improve energy generation efficiency by minimising the impact of debris accumulation on solar panels," he added.
Bernie Dong from Jiangsu Evershine Energy Technology highlighted sun-tracking systems' role in enhancing energy efficiency for large projects. "These solutions enhance sustainable solar energy production, providing significant growth opportunities for companies in this field," he said. Such technologies are crucial for boosting energy output and supporting sustainable development.
The Middle East's growing focus on renewable energy presents vast opportunities for global companies to expand their reach. The World Future Energy Summit serves as a platform for showcasing innovative technologies that address regional challenges like desert conditions. By leveraging these advancements, companies can enhance efficiency and strengthen their presence in this critical market.
