Six Flags Qiddiya City Opens In Riyadh Region As Vision 2030 Elevates Entertainment
Six Flags Qiddiya City has been officially opened in Riyadh Region, marking a key step in the Kingdom’s entertainment plans. The park’s launch supports Saudi Vision 2030 goals by strengthening the entertainment sector and helping position Saudi Arabia as a major global destination for large leisure projects.
The new Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first theme park within Qiddiya City’s wider entertainment ecosystem. It offers a variety of world-class rides and attractions with immersive experiences. Advanced technologies support the design, which aims to connect entertainment with the city’s identity and surrounding landscape.

Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz patronized the official opening ceremony on Monday evening. Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company Abdullah Aldawood thanked Prince Faisal bin Bandar for the patronage and presence, highlighting sustained support for projects that help advance regional development and contribute to Riyadh’s long-term growth.
Aldawood stated that the park’s opening shows Qiddiya City’s vision in action and explained its purpose. Aldawood said, "We are building a destination that inspires imagination, ignites excitement, and brings people together through exceptional experiences." The managing director underlined that such destinations aim to attract visitors from across the Kingdom and abroad.
The ceremony drew senior officials and leaders from several sectors, reflecting broad institutional backing. Attendees included Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan. Prince Fahd bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz and Mayor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf also attended.
