Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh Meets Pakistan Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gillani
At the Shura Council headquarters in Riyadh, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh engaged in official discussions with Yousuf Raza Gillani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, and his parliamentary delegation. Al Al-Sheikh extended a warm welcome to Gillani, emphasising Saudi Arabia's rapid advancements under King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aligned with Vision 2030.
Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the strong historical and fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He underscored the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, bilateral meetings, and reciprocal visits in strengthening relations. Exchanging parliamentary expertise is crucial for unified stances in regional and international forums.

The Pakistan Senate Chairman expressed delight at visiting Saudi Arabia, appreciating the warm hospitality received. He praised Saudi Arabia's significant support for Pakistan on various issues. The strong bonds between the two nations and their peoples were highlighted, along with constructive cooperation between the countries.
Gillani also emphasised the roles of legislative councils in addressing mutual interests. These councils contribute to enhancing their regional and international status.
