Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh Meets Cambodian Counterpart To Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council, engaged in formal discussions with Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of Cambodia's National Assembly. The meeting took place at the National Assembly Palace in Phnom Penh. Khuon Sudary warmly welcomed Al Al-Sheikh and his delegation, expressing gratitude for their visit and wishing them a pleasant stay.
Al Al-Sheikh expressed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him and his delegation. He stressed the importance of his visit in enhancing ties between the Shura Council and the Cambodian National Assembly. He also reaffirmed that mutual parliamentary visits are crucial for advancing bilateral cooperation.

Khuon Sudary highlighted Saudi Arabia's constructive role in promoting global peace through its wise foreign policy. She emphasized that parliamentary diplomacy is vital for enhancing cooperation across various sectors and deepening mutual understanding between Saudi Arabia and Cambodia.
The discussions included a review of cooperative areas between Saudi Arabia and Cambodia, particularly focusing on parliamentary collaboration. Both sides agreed on the importance of activating parliamentary friendship committees to strengthen bilateral ties further. They also addressed several issues of mutual interest during their talks.
Al Al-Sheikh outlined the rapid changes occurring in Saudi Arabia under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's leadership. He mentioned Vision 2030 as a driving force behind these transformations, aiming to diversify the economy and develop multiple income sources across key sectors.
