Sheraa Highlights Startup-Led Innovation At Make It In The Emirates Forum 2025
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) is set to participate in the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025. This event will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from May 19 to 22. The forum is a key platform for industrial growth in the UAE, bringing together government officials, industry leaders, and innovators to shape the future of manufacturing, enhance localisation, and explore new investment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Sheraa's involvement aims to highlight startups that are advancing innovative industrial solutions. These startups are creating market-ready products that contribute significantly to the UAE's industrial landscape. Sara Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, stated: "Sheraa’s participation in Make it in the Emirates 2025 demonstrates our commitment to placing startups at the heart of the UAE’s manufacturing and industrial transformation."

Among the showcased startups is Paltic Works, which promotes a zero-plastic waste culture in Lebanon and beyond. Another featured startup is NRSAA (FZC), which uses advanced technology for early detection and continuous monitoring of vital signs. This addresses muscle atrophy in bedridden patients and reduces alarm fatigue among healthcare professionals.
SpacePoint is also part of Sheraa's lineup, offering educational satellite kits that enable students to build and deploy satellites. This initiative inspires careers in STEM fields and supports climate change monitoring efforts. Additionally, FUSE EV Conversions LLC is working towards sustainable mobility by converting commercial fleets and classic vehicles to electric power.
Completing Sheraa's portfolio are Masar Technology and Leukeather. Masar Technology provides services ranging from prototyping to full-service 3D modeling, printing, and assembly. Leukeather offers a vegetal leather alternative that highlights potential for sustainable fashion. Together, these ventures contribute to the UAE’s goals for industrial growth, sustainability, and a knowledge-driven economy.
NoorNation will also be highlighted as the winner of the AgriTech track in the Access Sharjah Challenge 2024. In collaboration with Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (DAL), NoorNation deploys its LifeBox system for solar-powered water desalination and pumping. This solution provides clean irrigation and drinking water while reducing CO₂ emissions by eliminating diesel-powered irrigation.
Empowering Creative Entrepreneurs
The Ministry of Culture is collaborating with Sheraa to organise workshops aimed at empowering creative entrepreneurs with essential business skills. Led by industry experts, these sessions cover topics like business development fundamentals, brand creation, and marketing strategies for artisans. These workshops offer practical insights to help entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses and strengthen their brand presence.
Sheraa's participation underscores its dedication to fostering innovation within Sharjah and beyond. By supporting startups through tailored assistance from product development to access to industrial networks, Sheraa ensures that bold ideas transform into viable manufacturing solutions. This approach helps startups founded in Sharjah produce impactful results globally.
