Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Ranks First In Middle East And Eighth Globally In 2025 Report

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (SZGM) in Abu Dhabi has reached a new global milestone, climbing higher on the list of the world's top landmarks. According to TripAdvisor's 2025 report, it now ranks eighth among 25 distinguished sites globally, moving up two places from its 2024 position. It remains the number one attraction in the Middle East.

In addition to its global recognition, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah is also celebrated. It ranks among the top 10 per cent of landmarks worldwide, as chosen by travellers globally. This achievement is notable given the recent activation of visitor services at this mosque.

Dr. Yousif Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC), stated that the mosque's global recognition reflects UAE's visionary leadership. He said, "The global recognition attained by Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi reflects the visionary leadership of the UAE. It is the outcome of the centre’s strategic plan, which focuses on enhancing services and providing exceptional experiences for its guests."
