Dhay Photography Competition Invites Global Photographers To Capture Reflections At Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre has launched the "Dhay" Photography Competition, an artistic extension of the renowned "Spaces of Light" Award. This competition celebrates art and culture, inviting photographers worldwide to capture images at four grand mosques in the UAE. Participants can use cameras or mobile phones to submit their creative interpretations.

The inaugural theme for Dhay is Reflection, encouraging photographers to explore its aesthetic and contemplative aspects. Entrants are invited to create images that reflect the tranquillity and grace of these sacred spaces. The interaction between light and form in the architecture is a key focus, with reflective surfaces like water and glass serving as artistic tools.
