The Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Award Pavilion remains a key attraction at the Sheikh Zayed Festival 2025-2026. It draws numerous visitors and participants nationwide. The pavilion's programme includes educational and entertainment activities that promote sustainable farming practices and showcase local Emirati produce, aligning with national efforts to enhance food security and agricultural innovation.
Workshops and on-site consultations offer a platform for farmers and experts to share knowledge on smart agriculture, sustainable water management, and improved plant and animal production. The fourth edition of the award features 77 competitions across various agriculture- and food-related fields. These contests target farmers, breeders, honey producers, and introduce a youth category for the first time. Categories include Best Local Food Product, assessed on manufacturing quality, packaging, and marketing; Best Youth Agricultural Project, highlighting innovative youth initiatives; and Best Packaging Design, recognising creativity in product presentation.
Other categories focus on Best Awareness and Promotional Content, encouraging media materials that increase community understanding of agriculture. Children's competitions are also included to introduce young participants to agricultural concepts through hands-on activities. These events aim to engage different segments of society in agricultural practices.
The pavilion hosts competitions for preparing traditional Emirati dishes and desserts, showcasing the diversity of local cuisine. This not only highlights culinary skills but also reflects cultural heritage through food. The event promotes the quality of Emirati goods while supporting emerging national enterprises by displaying a selection of local agricultural and food products.
