UAE Announces 2024-2025 Arabian Horse Shows And Auctions Season
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), has approved the programme for Arabian Horse Shows and Auctions in the UAE for the 2024-2025 season. The upcoming season's schedule includes numerous local and international championships dedicated to Purebred Arabians.
The season will commence on 21st October 2024 with the Emirates National Horse Show and will run until 6th April 2025. It features a total of 13 championships, including five international events. Various locations such as Sharjah, Ajman, and Dubai Stud will host horse auctions throughout this period.

Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, expressed his gratitude for Sheikh Mansour's support towards Arabian horses. He praised His Highness’s patronage and directives, which significantly contribute to achieving EAHS’s goals and meeting the aspirations of Arabian horse breeders and owners in the UAE.
The season kicks off with the Emirates National Horse Show on 21st and 22nd October 2024. This is followed by the EAHS National Horse Show for Private Studs from 24th to 27th October. The Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival – Straight Egyptian will take place on 31st October, followed by its Local Breeding counterpart from 1st to 3rd November.
On 16th November, Ajman will host an Arabian Horse auction. The action then moves to Abu Dhabi for the launch of the 2024 Arabian Breeders Show on 19th and 20th November. Additionally, the Emirates Arabian Breeders Horse Show - Private Studs will be held from 21st to 24th November.
Support for Local Breeders
Sheikh Zayed also confirmed ongoing efforts to develop and enhance Arabian horse shows while supporting local breeders and owners. He highlighted EAHS’s commitment to building on past successes and sustaining achievements to preserve this authentic legacy.
In December, shows move to Kalba with the Sharjah – Kalba Arabian Horse Festival scheduled from 13th to 15th December. The Fujairah International Championship follows from 20th to 22nd December, concluding with a Dubai Stud Auction on the 28th.
Events in Early 2025
The Ajman Horse Show will take place from 9th to 11th January. The fifth edition of the Al Dhafra Arabian Horse Show - Private Studs is set for Al Dhafra from 16th to 19th January. The Alshiraa'a International Arabian Horse Show is scheduled from 30th January to 2nd February.
The Abu Dhabi International Title Show will be held from 21st to 23rd February. Finally, the season concludes with the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival's 26th edition from 4th to 6th April.
