Sheikh Mansoor Evaluates Service Excellence And Drone Management At Dubai Airports
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, visited Dubai International (DXB) today to review its operations and customer service quality. He also inspected the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority's workflow and drone operating mechanisms.
Sheikh Mansoor was accompanied by Lieutenant-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Vice-Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, and several council members. The delegation included Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Major General Obaid Maher bin Suroor, Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Jamal Al-Hai, Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Ibrahim Hassan Ali Ahly, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Busnad, Omar Ali Salem Al Adidi, Secretary General of the Council, and other senior officials from government departments.

During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor praised the efforts led by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports. He acknowledged the contributions of strategic partners such as Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and Dubai Air Navigation Services.
Sheikh Mansoor lauded the airport team’s dedication to providing seamless and high-quality services to passengers. Senior representatives briefed him on the airport’s activities, focusing on facility preparedness and procedural efficiency. The tour covered key customer service touchpoints including control, customs, and baggage handling.
H.H. also inspected the drone operations room at the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. He reviewed the latest technologies and systems used to monitor and regulate drones. Sheikh Mansoor expressed his appreciation for the Authority’s teams, supervised by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
He highlighted the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in drone operations to support enhanced safety and streamlined processes. The visit underscored Dubai’s commitment to integrating advanced technologies in civil aviation.
