Ajman Ruler Donates AED 5 Million To Support Local Fishermen For Eid
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has announced the allocation of AED5 million in financial rewards to fishermen registered with the Ajman Co-operative Society for Fishermen. This initiative coincides with Eid Al Adha and aims to encourage UAE citizens to pursue the fishing profession.
The financial support is intended to help fishermen overcome challenges related to providing for their families and maintaining a decent standard of living. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Ghamlassy, Chairman of the Ajman Crown Prince's Office and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, confirmed that the support will benefit citizens holding fishing licences in Ajman who are members of the society.

Al Ghamlassy expressed gratitude for Sheikh Humaid’s continuous support for fishermen and their families. He highlighted Sheikh Humaid’s commitment to improving their quality of life and advancing the fishing profession. Additionally, he extended congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Al Ghamlassy also thanked Sheikh Humaid for his ongoing support and dedication to meeting the needs of fishermen. He praised the society’s members for their appreciation of Sheikh Humaid and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who personally oversee the activities of local fishermen. Their efforts ensure that fishermen have access to necessary equipment and supplies, playing a crucial role in maintaining marine food security for both citizens and residents.
