Shatr Platform Launched To Foster Innovation In Non-Profit Sector

The National Center for Non-Profit Sector (NCNPS) and the Abdullah Al Rajhi Foundation have introduced the "Shatr" innovation platform. This initiative aims to foster innovation within the non-profit sector by uniting creators, entrepreneurs, and experts to tackle sector challenges.

Eng. Abdul Mohsen bin Turki Al-Turki, Deputy CEO of NCNPS, highlighted the importance of harnessing the abilities of creators and innovators. He stressed that their contributions are vital for addressing non-profit sector challenges and driving development.

Innovating Non-Profit with Shatr Platform

During the launch event, three significant agreements were signed. The first was between the Foundation and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. This agreement focuses on funding strategic initiatives for youth development and promoting social innovation in youth employment in Saudi Arabia.

The second agreement was with the Council of Foundations. It aims to activate the "Shatr" innovation community, supporting the non-profit sector and encouraging charitable institutions to provide funding and innovative solutions.

The third agreement involved the Council of Non-governmental Organizations. This partnership seeks to promote registration and participation of civil associations, gather challenges, and enhance cooperation among them to provide innovative solutions through the "Shatr" platform.

"Shatr" facilitates discovery, interaction, communication, idea development, and innovative solutions through a digital platform. It connects individuals for more effective communication within the non-profit sector.

This initiative is driven by the Abdullah Al Rajhi Foundation's commitment to stimulating non-profit work. The NCNPS supports this effort by guiding the sector's development.

The platform serves as a creative window for developing the non-profit sector and helping it overcome obstacles. It emphasizes creators and experts as key drivers for generating ideas and solving challenges.

The launch event featured a presentation on "Shatr's" capabilities followed by a speech from Eng. Abdul Mohsen bin Turki Al-Turki. He emphasized leveraging creators' capabilities to address non-profit challenges effectively.

"Shatr" aims to bring together creators, entrepreneurs, and experts to address sector challenges through innovative solutions. The platform encourages effective communication among individuals in the non-profit sector.

This initiative underscores the importance of collaboration between various entities to drive innovation in Saudi Arabia's non-profit sector. By uniting different stakeholders, "Shatr" aims to create a more dynamic and effective environment for addressing sector challenges.
