Sharjah Ruler Discusses Educational Collaboration With University Of Liverpool Delegation

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, recently met with a delegation from the University of Liverpool. The meeting took place at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre in Sharjah's university city. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Sharjah's educational institutions and international universities, especially those in the UK.

The collaboration aims to exchange scientific knowledge and improve educational standards for both professors and students. His Highness emphasised the importance of strategic plans in education, which have led to the creation of top-tier educational environments in Sharjah. These efforts ensure high-quality management and selection of specialisations that benefit learners.

The meeting highlighted the significance of leveraging local academic experiences, particularly in applied studies like agriculture, medicine, and health sciences. Encouraging students to engage in scientific research was also discussed as a means to gain valuable experience. This approach aligns with Sharjah's educational goals.

Cooperation between the University of Dhaid and the University of Liverpool was also reviewed. A key focus was their veterinary medicine programme, recognised as one of the UK's best according to international rankings. This programme will be part of the University of Dhaid's academic offerings.
