Sharjah Ruler Orders Completion Of Key Sewage Networks To Enhance City Infrastructure

In a significant move towards enhancing the quality of life for its residents, the Emirate of Sharjah, under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has initiated the completion of crucial sewage network projects in the Al Fareesh suburb of Kalba. This initiative, focusing on the Al Saf and Al Ghail neighborhoods, is part of a broader effort to improve sanitation across Sharjah and particularly in Kalba.

Eng. Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Head of the Sharjah Public Works Department, highlighted that this directive from H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi aims to build upon the existing infrastructure, ensuring a robust sanitation system throughout Kalba. The project encompasses several areas including Block 16, Block 19 (Al Saf 8), Al Qalaa, Khor Kalba, and others, alongside a treatment plant with a capacity of 3,700 cubic litres per day.
