Sharjah's Ruler Unveils Second Phase Of Quran's Rhetorical Encyclopedia
In a significant cultural and religious milestone, H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, unveiled the second phase of the Holy Quran's Rhetorical Interpretation Encyclopedia alongside "The Qulun' Narration from Nafi," a pioneering work in the Encyclopedia of Recitation Methods. This event occurred during the annual graduation ceremony of the fourth batch of Quran readers at the Sharjah Holy Quran Academy, where 249 readers were certified.
The ceremony witnessed the signing of the first edition of the second phase of the "Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation" by the Ruler of Sharjah. This new addition consists of 16 volumes that cover parts of the second quarter of the Holy Quran, expanding the encyclopedia to a total of 25 volumes across both phases. Additionally, His Highness signed the first edition of "The Encyclopedia of the Qulun' Narration from Nafi," an unprecedented work in Quranic recitation methods, which includes 10 volumes alongside the Noble Quran and its explanation in the margins.

The Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation stands out for its detailed interpretive and rhetorical analysis, offering an exhaustive interpretation of the Holy Quran. It provides precise linguistic explanations and draws from primary linguistic references, Quranic lexicons, and commentaries. This ensures clarity and strength in expression while remaining accessible to readers. The encyclopedia also meticulously examines the contextual relevance of each surah (chapter), exploring its connections and nuances within the text.
Moreover, this comprehensive work delves into linguistic and conceptual embellishments that enrich the Quranic text, elucidating nuances and semantic distinctions among Quranic terms. It relies on primary sources of Quranic exegesis, linguistic analysis, and rhetorical studies to achieve this depth of understanding.
Following the ceremony, graduates from the fourth batch received their Quranic authorisations with a continuous chain of transmission to Prophet Muhammad; peace be upon him. This event not only marked a significant achievement for the graduates but also underscored Sharjah's commitment to fostering religious education and preserving Islamic traditions through scholarly works.
