Sharjah’s Ruler Launches New Housing Projects In Mahdub Suburb
In a significant development for Sharjah's housing sector, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, initiated the construction of Al Qutainah 3 and Al Shanouf 4 residential complexes in the Mahdub suburb. This initiative marks a pivotal moment for the region, aiming to enhance the living standards of its residents. The Ruler of Sharjah also greenlit the allocation of homes to 362 families in Al Qutainah 1, showcasing a commitment to community welfare and development.
During his visit, Sheikh Sultan was presented with detailed insights into the projects, including the allocation of 1,344 plots across the new complexes. These developments are set to benefit an impressive total of 9,408 individuals, providing them with modern living spaces that blend Islamic, local, and contemporary architectural elements. The housing units, varying in design, offer both ground-floor and two-story options, catering to diverse family needs.
The Al Shanouf 4 Complex stands out with its expansive layout covering 765 thousand square metres and is expected to house 3,759 people within its 549 units. Similarly, Al Qutainah 3 is poised to accommodate around 2,480 residents over an area of 837 thousand square metres, featuring 429 housing units. These projects reflect a thoughtful approach to urban planning, emphasizing space utilization and privacy for Emirati families.
Sheikh Sultan's tour included a visit to the model housing unit in Al Qutainah 1 project, which spans over 528 thousand square metres and includes 362 housing units. This visit offered him a closer look at the practical and aesthetic aspects of the upcoming residences. The model unit showcased a variety of rooms designed to meet the needs of modern Emirati families, including master bedrooms, a kitchen, and dedicated spaces for guests and domestic help.
The residential complexes are not just about housing; they are about creating communities. This vision is further exemplified by the inclusion of mosques, a Ghaf tree reserve, and a nursery within these projects. Such facilities are integral to fostering a sense of belonging and community among residents.
