Sharjah's Ruler Evaluates Ministry Of Education's Future Plans And Programmes
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, along with H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, reviewed the Ministry of Education's development plans and programmes on Thursday. The review took place at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre.
Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, presented the ministry's key strategies to H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan. These strategies focus on the development of educational curricula and the enhancement of teaching and administrative staff quality through international training programmes. The aim is to improve educational quality, values, and positive behaviour.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan was briefed on the ministry's collaboration with parents to monitor and support students at home. This initiative aims to complement the school's role and achieve optimal academic and educational outcomes. The briefing also covered the latest technologies and various educational methods being implemented in the teaching process.
The provision of competent teaching staff, laboratories, and educational facilities to keep up with advanced educational methods was also discussed. H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan was introduced to the higher education strategy and the recently adopted framework for classifying higher education institutions.
This classification programme is part of the ministry's initiatives for universities, colleges, and educational institutions across the country. It aims to enhance education quality, measure market demand for university graduates, assess scientific research capabilities, and help families choose suitable universities for their children.
