Sharjah's Ruler Attends Swearing-In Of Khorfakkan Municipal Council

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended the swearing-in ceremony for the Chairman and members of the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan. The event took place at Sharjah Ruler’s Office on Tuesday.

The ceremony was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The presence of these dignitaries underscored the importance of the occasion.

During the ceremony, the Ruler of Sharjah congratulated the new Municipal Council members and wished them success in their roles. He emphasised the importance of addressing community needs and ensuring that citizens' concerns are communicated to relevant authorities.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan highlighted that all projects within the emirate aim to benefit both citizens and residents. These initiatives are designed to provide a decent life while fostering a sense of cohesion, belonging, and pride in their culture and country.

The Sharjah Ruler stressed the significance of engaging with all city members to understand their challenges, suggestions, and aspirations. This feedback should be relayed to government agencies to ensure efficient procedures and services for the people.

The swearing-in ceremony saw attendance from several notable figures including Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority; Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office; Sheikh Khalid bin Essam Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Civil Aviation; and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD).

The presence of department heads and senior officials further highlighted the significance of this event for Khorfakkan's municipal governance.

By focusing on community engagement and effective communication with government bodies, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan aims to advance Khorfakkan's development while ensuring that residents' needs are met efficiently.
