Sharjah Ruler Approves New Organisational Structure For Sharjah Prevention And Safety Authority
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree to approve the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA).
The decree stipulates that the Sharjah Executive Council will be responsible for issuing further decisions. These decisions will include detailing the organisational structure of the SPSA and implementing necessary measures.

The Executive Council's responsibilities also encompass approving job descriptions for the tasks of various organisational units within the authority. This ensures that each unit operates in accordance with its designated powers.
Additionally, the council is authorised to create, merge, or cancel any organisational units within the departments included in the general organisational structure. This flexibility allows for adjustments as needed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
The approval of this decree marks a significant step in formalising the operational framework of the SPSA. It sets a foundation for structured governance and streamlined processes within the authority.
This move is expected to bolster preventive and safety measures across Sharjah, aligning with broader strategic goals for public safety and welfare.
