Sharjah Quran Complex Engages With Mufti Of Poland To Enhance Quranic Knowledge And Heritage
The Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah recently explored ways to strengthen collaboration in promoting the Holy Qur’an and its sciences. This discussion took place during a visit by Tomasz Miśkiewicz, the Grand Mufti of Poland and head of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union. Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the complex, warmly welcomed him.
During his visit, Tomasz Miśkiewicz examined the complex's role and strategy in serving the Holy Qur’an. The complex is dedicated to highlighting prominent figures and scientific projects related to Quranic studies. It also features museums that showcase the Quranic legacy and recount the history of writing the Holy Qur’an and its sciences.

Dr. Abdullah AlHosani expressed his delight at hosting Tomasz Miśkiewicz, noting that this visit could pave new paths for cooperation in promoting the Book of God and its knowledge heritage. He emphasized how such collaborations can enhance understanding and appreciation of Islamic culture globally.
The Grand Mufti of Poland expressed gratitude for H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi's unwavering support for this global Quranic institution. He acknowledged His Highness's significant efforts in preserving and sharing the historical, scientific, and knowledge heritage of the Holy Qur’an with the world.
The Sharjah Global Electronic Quran Academy was highlighted as an educational beacon that adapts to modern developments in education. This academy reaches 172 countries worldwide, offering a platform for learning about Islam and its teachings through advanced technologies.
Tomasz Miśkiewicz also presented a copy of the Quran with Polish translations to the complex, symbolizing a step towards deeper cultural exchange and understanding between Poland and Sharjah.
He stated, "We look forward to comprehensive and integrated cooperation between the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union in Poland and the Holy Quran Academy to introduce Islam and the Holy Qur’an and its sciences." This sentiment underscores a shared commitment to fostering greater awareness of Islamic teachings globally.
