Al Owais highlighted the importance of hosting the forum in various Arab cities. He stated that rotating the venue among Arab countries allows writers and researchers to exchange ideas and explore narrative futures across literary forms. Hosting it in Cairo adds cultural depth and reflects Sharjah's aim to expand cooperation with Egypt.

He expressed gratitude to Egypt’s Ministry of Culture for its role in fostering Arab culture. "I take this opportunity to extend our highest thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for its continuous collaboration," he said. This partnership has facilitated many cultural activities, showcasing writers' presence in both Egyptian and Arab scenes.

An exhibition accompanied the opening ceremony, showcasing publications from Sharjah's Department of Culture. Visitors showed keen interest in exploring titles like Sharjah Cultural Magazine, Al-Rafid, Al-Qawafi, and Al-Masrah. These works span various genres, attracting public attention eager to delve into these cultural offerings.

In his speech, Abdullah Al Owais remarked on literature's dual role as an art form and a communication bridge. "We are pleased to meet today at the Opera House to celebrate words and creativity at the Sharjah Narrative Forum," he said. Literature preserves identity while offering a platform for dialogue.

Sessions on Literary Evolution

The first day featured three sessions discussing "The Novel: From Orality to Artificial Intelligence." Participants explored how narratives evolve with technology.
